  • BBS LM145 - Center Question

    Good Morning,

I bought a wheel set "BBS LM145" in 8.5x18 ET25. The center is usually outside, but I would like to build it inside.
Is this so simple or do you have to create centering rings or a phase?

usually they just put inside, but in that way faces fit not so tight to barrels as original mount

I assume you mean that you want to reverse mount them?

You don't have to do anything. Just mount them on the inside, and your offset will lower about 13MM, and you'll gain 13MM more lip visually.

You can physically mount the faces inside, but it is definitely not recommended. The wheel faces are not machined that way. If you put the faces inside then the stress is on the bolts, if its outside then the lip is machined to support the force.
You would need to machined to be safe.

Call bbs usa they are very helpful.
