  • Calling Porsche Gurus

I came across some vintage BBS Motorsport centers (similar to E26). They're currently centerlock with 10 drive pins on a 130mm PCD. My thought is to insert them for road car use. I have two related questions:

-In 17" diameter, what's the best platform for wheels like this... what vehicle fitment would give the best return. It's a big cost investment to do this project, and I'm not familiar enough with the Porsche market to know who I should cater to.

-Following question 1, what backpad height (caliper clearance) would I need for such a fitment? One of my hang-ups right now is pad height... the centers are fairly low, and I thought Porsches typically needs quite a bit of clearance.

    Thanks for any help.

17" would be perfect for a 930, pad height would be a non-issue(they run thick factory spacers).
Everything is working order. Parts are still on the car. Complete 930 brakes and rotors Sold Rear trailing arms with e brake and hubs $3200 shipped

    Not a "guru", btw.

      I appreciate the help!

Still undecided on the project as a whole... I've been wanting to do a conversion like this for a while, but not sure I can make a worthwhile profit.

I passed on them. They turned out to be a 5" circle (127mm).
