  • 1992 BMW 735I Wheel fitment help?

I have an E32 and trying to find the biggest wheels I can put on them without having to mess with camber so what width and offset can i get away with?!?!? i wanna have these ordered hopefully prior to getting back from deployment so i can make a build thread but getting info on wheel size/width/offset for these are next to NONE! was told 10.5 rear and 9.5 fronts but offset is forever elusive and that was only by 1 guy in europe land

Since you doesn't seem to know what you want these sites are a good source of informatins.

        http://www.willtheyfit.com/, a ruler and http://tyrestretch.com/ as well as a
Google Google2 research will help you decide what you want.
        Simply a "big wheel" can be a 20x8 or a 17x12...

Show us a pic of the fitment you want to run.

research for an E32 comes up with nothing and finding anyone that has a wide wheel on the E32 has no information I want either 1n 18x??or a 17x?? I know the diameter I just don't know the max width with the correct offset for good fitment to the fender and no tire stretch or camber for a nice deep polished lip

Measure how wide you arch is and go from there, like you mentioned e32s aren't that common...

If nobody can provide you the info you're looking for maybe you need to find it yourself.
See my last post, everything you need is there, use it!

Hi everyone, I made an account just so I can try to help with this question! I have an E32 myself and in the process of trying to find wheels (I think I found the winner). To be honest, there isn't a ton of info for wheels on the e32 because they aren't as commonly modified as an e34 or e30. BUT I do know the suspension setup is essentially the same between e32/34 (among other things) so maybe some of the e34 guys can help you out.

I also know the standard ET is 20. I've been told you can have a range of 19-26 for the offset and you will be fine. Alpina was able to go as wide as 17x10j. With the right offset, you can have a pretty decently size lip.

Just for some insight, I would use willtheyfit.com like OrangeBlue mentioned. I plan on running 18x9.5j in the rear and looks like I'll be fine. Might even need a spacer to fill the arch a little better.
