polishing styling 5 lips

Hello guys I have just acquired these styling 5s for e38 I would like to just polish the lips for now when I have more time I will do a complete refurbish my question is will sand paper for enough looking at the scratches on the edges?

Some of those look fairly deep. You can sand it out, yes. Will it be fast - no.

ok thank you can you tell me the color code for these rims and are they made of aluminum?

Color code for the silver paint on the face? No idea, google might help.
They are aluminum.

Yes. Everything except the nuts/bolts and center caps is aluminum.

Well, that depends on you, really.
You will need to disassemble the wheel if you intend to strip the clear off.
