Tire stretch advice needed

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a set of ABT A9 wheels from a member of this forum. Upon receipt and fit onto my car I noticed I could use a little more stretch up front to get the height where I'd prefer.

Currently they have 205/40/17 Ohtsu FP5000 tires all around on 8" front and 9" rears. So my questions are:

1. Is the Ohtsu tire a true/under/over size tire?

2. Should I drop to 195's? The market is limited so Federal 595's or Yoko s drives.

3. Is there a better stretching 205?

Are you sure you are limited to yokos and federals, over here in europe we have a
quite a few 195/40 R17.

Nankang AS-1, Kumho KU31, Hankook Ventus to name a few.
Call a tire shop, maybe they can help out...
