  • e36 help!

    I'm thinking of buying my mates 36 and I been offered some rondell mesh wheels in 8&10x17 but the 10 got et 15 the question is will this wheel fit or will I need lots of arch work ?

    You will need to roll the fenders, and pull them slightly.
    Run a bit off camber -3degrees and 225/35. Or there about.

        IIRC the rear has bolts to adjust the camber, the front you need camber plates. et15 will fit in the rear with a roll, wont need a pull, but you may have to cut the fenders to get the rear flat enough to not rub since the rear fender lip is rather thick. This is all assuming you put some stretch on them.

        whats the front offset?

          This with 215 40s, but they will poke alot, 10 wide et15 rears are very agressive for the e36

          AmberLamps..... Get rid of them!

            indeed, its agressive, with a pull he might be able to get away with a 225/40. I just helped finish a setup with a 10 +10, no pull, just cut and rolled fenders, 215/40

              i'm runing 225/45 on 10j et20. My fenders are rolled and pulled, i have max'ed the camber and i still rub.
              And 10j et15 will stick 0.5cm more. So i think 215/40 and camber is the way you should go:}

                Not sure on the front et what would be a safe et for the front ?
                Also wen u say pull the arch do u mean like tap it out after I grind the lip back ?
                How easy is it to Camber the rear I've never had a bimmer

                  Very easy to adjust the back camber, for the front you need camber plates.
                  et20 or lower on a 8j is win.
