  • 1st Gen XB + Custom Struts + 5 lug conversion + Salad shooters = Epic?

Now first of all i am from Milwaukee, not exactly the stance capitol of the world, This conversion is using all 1st gen XB parts(no Tc or Gen2 xb parts),

i have done alot of research and testing before i attempted any thing.

What i am doing- Making new front struts so the car goes lower but still has travel

Drilling the factory hubs to 5x100 (thats what will fit)

Using 15mm adapters from 1552, very cool guys, (5x100-5x120.65)

I will have enough space to tuck these wheels - 16x8.5 +38 even with the adapters

these are test fits and crappy pics

adapters are on order< should have updates soon!

Agreed. Is the sidewall from old tires still on those or something?

Yeah when i bought the wheels they had a really fat tire on them, but a friend of mine who runs a shop was getting a new tire machine that he was going to let me use for free, so i just took a box cutter to the old tires for test fits.

                      UPDATES got 1 done yesterday

what it looks like with wheel off

Ride height is going to be a little lower after i roll the fenders some more

quick side shot, i had to put a 1/8" spacer the clear the adapters so until i get some time to dremel out the wheel pockets a little more this is how it will be

Sorry for the crappy blackberry pics, after im done i'll try to get some better pics.

also the wheels are 16x8.5 with a +38 offset, after i added the 15mm adapters does anyone know what the final offset is? or do i just subtract 15 from 38? so is the final offset
                      +23?

It's looking good. How does the front fit?

still need to do the front but it should fit pretty well because i already pulled the fenders, the rear is actually going to go in a little more after i machine the back of the wheels.
