  • help with stance on 05 accord

hi all, so I want to purchase camber kits and coil overs for my accord 7th gen.

I want to go with a set of 16x10 or x9 diamond racing steelies.

what offset should I go with for front and back, I would like it to be flushed / stanced.

Should I go with 0 offset or what. also what kind of modding to fenders will I have to do thanks a lot.

I'm assuming this is your first set up. So with this in mind, I would suggest you do A LOT of research. Go online and look at what other 7th gen Accords are running. See what offset they have, size, width, etc. That's what I did when I tried to figure out what offset I wanted on my Civic.

First things first: COILOVERS. I would highly recommend getting full bodied coilovers and not coilover sleeves. Some people say go with Kony/GC et up, but I wouldn't do that. Research on what coilvoers get you the lowest. I'm willing to bet Function&Form, D2 Super Lows, and BC Extreme Low are all good starting points (I currently own a set of D2 Super Low on my 97 Civic and I love them).

Second: Again, do more research on what wheel set up people are running. Remember that offset changes with width. Having 0 offset on a x8 width is NOT the same as 0 offset on a x10 width wheel.

Extra comments: First figure out coilovers, then wheels, THEN see if you need camber kits. depending on how much camber you want to run, you might not need any at all. Also, remember that you can ALWAYS get spacers to make your wheels stick out a bit more. So if you wanna stay safe, go with a bit higher offset than what most people run and the get spacers.

    Good websites to look for:

    Good luck man.
