Maybe Swinford inspired is a fair statement, but credit should go to the guy who came up with it.

I think he's on the boards.

Credit goes to the first guy who ever did it, in the 80's 70's or whenever. Swinford was just the first guy that I saw with them on a bimmer.

BTW looks dope can't wait to see them mounted

Everyone else who is wanting more pics, tomorrow you will see tires, and they will not have any stretch.... Then mounted pics sometime this weekend. I'm in the process of moving, and don't have any time before then.

i really need to see them mounted. i know there was a mk3 golf with this done on rs's but that had polished lips, not painted

I always thought Swinford's wheels were cool but honestly looked crappy on the car. Although I like the finish I just don't like how they look the the car.

im not feeling the coverage of blots you got on the wheels...

...would look much nicer if it was evenly splattered instead of being able to see the path of which you used whatever to drip the paint on with.

but +1 on seeing them mounted

Why did you bother painting the barrels of the wheels?

I had them powder coated, so if I **** it on the wheels, I just take the paint off... and still have a nice finish.

i agree with sean on the widness of the wheels

this would look sick on a wide multipiece wheel just on the face tho and polish the lip
