stretch on 18x7.5?

looking to stretch the tires on my RCs cause the sidewalls on the 225/40s are gettin chewed up badly. looking for a setup that will give me a mild stretch help me out

205 35s smallest tire in 18's and hard to find, but in a 7.5 a mild stretch if that, I suggest a 205 40 18

I love the wheels and got them for cheap in brand new condition so i wont be changing them anytime soon. I'm lookin for 8s to throw outback if I can find two.
