  • Got 235/35/19 and need smaller.

Anyone have any suggestions for a tire size smaller than 235/35/19?

I can find smaller widths but not sidewall or smaller sidewalls in smaller widths.

The small tire ain't the problem, its the width of your wheels!
On a more serious note, i can't help you. Soz!

thats the smallest u can get in the US, 215/35/19... since the middle number is a ratio, you will find that the sidewall will be smaller than on the 235's

I thought I read that the OD stays the same when you stretch?

Where do you guys go to stretch? I cant find a shop in my area. Could you get the tire on the by a shop and do the stretch yourself?

I can do the 215 up front but what I originally wanted to do was stretch and go taller in sidewall. I **** rubber bands!

What size should I do in back since my only issue is with the fronts rubbing on hard turns?

          Can I do a 215/40 or something?

                19x8.5.

Im not keeping these wheels though. By next year I'll have wider ones but I gotta deal with what I got right now. And Im not stretching cause it looks cool, Im doing it so I can clear my freaking fender on turns which I anticipate being worse once my adapters come in.

But anyway, any insight on my questions on what size tires to roll with out back and what I should do about finding someone to stretch?

Do you think I can get a shop to put tires on and take them home and do a stretch myself. I saw how guys do the stretch but I tried putting tires on myself in the past and its a bitch,.. no fun at all.

lol heres how you stretch a tire at home. I dunno what you mean by "have the shop put the tire on then stretch it at home." Once the tire's on it's stretched.

Theres plenty of vids on youtube

I seen loads of good and bad videos. I need to have the tire put on the wheel. Its not stretched once its on, its stretched once its filled with air,..lol!

215/35/19 has a smaller sidewall and is pretty much the smallest you can get for a 19" wheel. I switched from 225/35/19 to 215/35/19 on my 19x8.5's and it is definately less tire, made the car lower, and gave me more fender clearence. Not sure on the 215/40's though.
