  • 190e w201 - Benz Guys - Get in here!

I was looking for pics, advice, setups on stuffing 17x8.5 rims on the rear of 190e.
    The car is lowered 2".
I want the poke, do not want rubbing or minimal.

I can have the wheels machined from 20MM to 38MM. (anything in between)
I'd love the 20MM, but does that limit me to a 215/40?

Long-time lurker here <-- Love the site, love the rides and thanks for the help!

Help the MB get low in MN.

I have 17x8 ET 20 wheels all around on my W201. Tires are 205/40/17
Dropped a lot but I don't know the exact amount(forgot to measure before).
Rears had very minor rubbing only when going over bumps. Rolled the fenders and the rubbing disappeared.

Here are some pics to give you an idea.

These were taken before I lowered the rear a little more.
The tires now tuck about 1-1.cm under the fender to match the fronts.
