  • 15-inch Riken Turbos on an E36...? :/

    Hey gang,

I'm looking at purchasing some new wheels for my third E36, and I found a set of Riken Turbos for sale. They're 15x7-inch with an offset of -17. Bolt pattern is obviously 5x120, otherwise I wouldn't be interested.

I'm curious as to whether or not these would it, and if they do, I'm not too sure how they would look... I'm a little hesitant to put 15-inch wheels on my E36, as they will probably look a little small. I know stretched tires are aren't the most safe or sane thing to do (and I'm not exactly excited about trying it), but with a little stretch, they might look decent. I like a little sidewall, but these might end up being too small to use.

If anyone is sitting on a nice set of 15-inch wheels on their E36, feel free to share pics. I'm on the fence with this one.

For reference, the car these *might* be going onto is a 318i vert.

    Pics provided. Thanks guys!

yeah, maybe if they were wider you could pull it off but they'll end up looking like golf cart wheels. @ 15x7

I would advise against them going on a e36

Using them as a "race" set wouldnt be bad, but even slammed I dont see them looking good enough. Why not get them and upsize?

I actually kinda like that, it looks pretty good. I wouldn't mind a little extra sidewall, as long as it has a little stretch. This is the picture that got me curious about 15s (it's a pretty rough car, but I liked the shape and size of the wheel/tire combo):
