  • Who carries 12 point torx sockets?

I'm trying to disassemble my wheels and i am in need of a 12pt torx style socket

    Like pictured.

I can order them online, but would rather find a store that carries it. So far

    Home Depot
    Do it Center
    Autozone
    Kragen
    OSH

none carry it, only the normal 6 pt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They're actually called triple square sockets.

I have an 8mm one...do you need it? Just pay the shipping and I'll send it to you.

yep triple square, a lot of the shit on my car is held together with those. i got them from a local tool supply store, they were like 35 bucks for a set. Seem to be decent quality.

Ok idk where you are located at but. Autozone in IL dose have them. Also pepboys has the set and the price was like 15 bucks. Sears dose not carry them at all. The other place that has them is car quest auto parts, the set of 4 was 20 i think and they also have them separate at 5 bucks each. Hope that helps.

My local AutoZone and Sears Hardware have 12 points (triple squares?)

I know this because I was on the hunt for 1/2" Torx Sockets (damn bellhousing bolts on my tranny) and wound up looking at all that funky stuff.

There you go a sears hardware he says has them. The regular sears from what they told me don't carry them.

heres a part number if it helps.. "Lisle 60750"

I would look at ACE hardware they have tons of things that you would never think of. I find stuff there all the time.
