  • Mercedes wheel stud conversions &R13 ball seat nuts

I'm searching around the internet for a good solution to convert my W201 Mercedes to M12 x 1.5 wheel studs and R13 ball seat lugs.

The studs are not a problem, but I'm having a difficult time finding specifications on the lug nuts. I'm also looking for some 10-15mm spacers, which are no challenge at all to find.

A lot of folks will list "ball seat" lugs or conversion washers, but do not specify the actual radius of the ball seats. There are 3 common sizes, R12, R13, and R14 which have by manufacturers of wheels.

Can anyone point to a vendor (preferably a site sponsor) who can definitively supply the spacers, studs and lugs I'm looking for to safely and properly mount some Mercedes S-Class wheels with R13 ball seat onto my W201 with M12 x 1.5 studs?

    Steve.

Updated FYI - Ryan at motorsporthardware.com has been extremely helpful. They have the correct ball seat nuts for the wheels, and the correct studs for the car. Now, I need to do a little more measuring for the spacers.

Good deal. I've also had very good experiences with Otis LA when it comes to lugs. The guys there have been able to get me some pretty weird stuff, and they also specify radius on ball seat lugs.

I also love that all their stuff is made either in Europe or God's Own US of A, and every time I've ordered, they've been cheaper than the cheap Chinese junk at the auto parts store.

I'm using Otis LA lug bolts right now (M12 x 1.5 with R13 seats), but they don't offer an M12 x 1.5 nut with an R13 profile to match up with my wheels.

I definitely prefer to "buy the best and only cry once", especially when it comes to MB stuff.
