Nittos have been good to me, they stretch nice, traction is average but they seem to last more that other brands, but have no preferences, if they give me the clearance that I need theire on, dont care for noise or ride quality as some do

    AmberLamps..... Get rid of them!

Toyo Proxes T1R. I loved those tires.

Also some other suggestions, for my stock winter wheels I love the Falken 912's and if I go back down to a aftermarket set of 17's for the summer I think Im gunna have to stick with those or go with a set of 452's.

However I know lots of guys that run Federals and Verdesteins and love 'em but the price difference between the two is huge.

Toyo are double the cost. Falken seem not to have the best reviews, 50% at best. I didnt see anyone list Dunlop SP9000 and the Fuzion could be a contender in the 'other' catagorie'.

Keep em coming and if I have to add another 2 or 3 tire brands Ill do that.

True, Toyos are pricey but well worth it. And nowhere near as much as the Duns.

This ^ is more like it.
I have always ran 452's however the T1Rs stretch great but they are pretty $$$$$

Have you ever stretched tires? You list is less than desireable. I would not deliberately buy ANY of your tires to stretch them.

No I havent but these came up multiple times in different threads. Im not looking for a hardcore strech. It will be a max of 215 on a 9.

Why the Falkens? I read they get a bad rap.

I dont know about Falkens getting a bad review. Loads of people use them. They sponsor some pretty cool VIP shows also.

                      Falkens are great tires.

If you have to choose one out of the original 4 you have posted based on stretch do the federals. They are cheap ( always a bonus when stretching tires ), last long, and stretch nice!

I dont know why they have a bad rap. I guess I didnt know they HAD a bad rap???? Who told you/where did you hear this? I ran them (or the 451's which came before the 452's) or ZRi's stretched for the last 7-8 years. No problems what so ever. I really like the look of the 452's

Reading all the tire threads in this section Seemed like it was 50/50. More negative response than other tires.
