    Ditto. Use something that you can control in longer strokes. You take a chance making the lips look wavy with a dremel... been there, done that. My weapon of choice is a flat file (course, then fine), followed by a typical sanding/polishing.

      ok so no dremel :P I have a DA palm sander with all sorts of grit paper.

        thanks for everyone who gave advice on my wheels! I pulled out the files and sander. Knocked down the heavy stuff with a file, then went with a 80 to 2000 grit paper. Then took my buffing wheel, drill and mothers and went to town!

        Think they came out great considering how bad the rash was in some spots.

          Good work on the polishing. Looks like it matches well. I bet you could be more aggressive and get most of that out though. Just the couple deep ones on the lower right that might not come out.
