  • Wheel Recon. What paint do you use?

I have been using rattle can paint to paint small parts and other wheels. I use Duplicolor cause its the easiest to find in my area without ordering online.

Im doing a set of wheels that I might sell and I wanna do a good job but I dont have a spray gun and compressor so its back to rattle cans. I got kinda good at it. I usually do the base coat and take it to someone for a professional polish then clear coat.

What brands have you guys used before in rattle cans when doing your wheels?

Also, Im looking for suggestions on color. I wanna do them in a shade of gold or silver but Im unsure what shade to go with. If you guys have painted your own wheels gold or silver post 'em up with a code.

Heres a generic pic of the set of wheels Im repairing. If you have other suggestions on color beside gold or silver let me know.

Even if you didnt paint them and you think its a killer color post 'em up with the advertised name of the color or code for me.

Well gee, thanks for showing the love!

No one out of the how many that viewed that thread commented on it so I was gunna let it fade away and not even really update it. So, I started this thread.

I like those color combos, but Im gunna meditate on that.

If I keep these wheels I have a silver sedan and I think it will be off but if I sell them it might limit my amount of interested buyers.
Would look nice on a Leguna Blue or what ever its called colored car.
But I do really like that!

Oh maybe this will draw attention, feel free anyone to photoshop some color to this wheel.

My favorite colored wheels are Hyper Silver and different shades of gold like BBS gold along with straight brushed bare alloy and polished bare alloy..

normally I'd use rust paint. At least for the primer anyways. And then just get a GOOD quality paint, not the cheap stuff. I find cheap stuff sucks at covering
