  • Different size tyres?

    Hey guys,

I mounted my contours today 8" wide with 205/40 all the way round. But its going to get to low to drive in front, so i wanted to get 205/45 in front and keep the 204/40s on the rear.

    How would this work out?

    92' E36 320 Coúpe - 2,2l storked - Ebay headers - WARchip - KN filter - 328i decat exhaust - Lightweight M3 flywheel - Coil Overs - Rondell 58 17"

First off the contours are either 7.5 or 8.5 ... there was no 8.

The difference is going to be 10mm in height, but more importantly the difference in overall diameter is going to be almost an inch; not only is it going to look funky, it's also probably going to throw your abs off. Personally, I'd just raise the coilovers that 10mm and forget about it.

Maybe original contours are only in those sizes, but i have reps (they were dirty cheap and i was sick of 15s)

I have seen many BMWs running the different size setup...
