Opinions on Rota? Other affordable brands?

Lately I have been researching a lot about rims.
Unfortunately I can't afford the nice and expensive wheels like BBS or Work...
So, I am looking for more affordable brands.

If I search on the internet I keep finding Rota.
Are they any good or are there better brands in this price range that fit on an E21?

Rotas are the cheap of the cheap, I'm pretty sure they are only gravity cast. Which makes the metal very porus which makes it very easy to crack. Plus they are theives, all they do is copy other companys wheel designs, they have no integrity, do you really want to support a company like that?

What you can do is buy used wheels that maybe need a little TLC, thats what I've been doing and I've never spent over 1k for wheels and I've had everything from OEM Bentley wheels, BBSs and Multipiece OZs.

If you buy them new.., for that money you
can get something nice, used and period correct...

As i know these are specs for the E21, they are refinished,
from there you can work your way what an unrefinished set could cost...

Search, read, stay away from off brand stuff = good times.

After reading this I won't buy Rotas.
When I figure out what size I want I will look for used rims.
I didn't think about that.... Personally I like BBS RS rims, so then I can buy the 'real deal'.

Now I have to figure out what size is 'normal' for a lowered E21.
