  • Best bang for the buck tire to stretch?

I'm in need of new front tires.. 205/45/17 on an 8" wide wheel. Not much stretch at all. I used to have Kumho Ecsta SPT's which were ok. I don't know what is out there now for stretching. The tires will go on the front of my fwd so something stickier like summer tires are preferred.

Tire rack currently has ventus v12's for 67$ a piece in that size on closeout. I am close to buying them but did some research, threads from 3 years ago say the sidewalls are so soft that bubbles actually start forming. Otherwise, most people say they are great tires.

    What are my other options?

    thanks in advance

Ohtsu fp7000. I have them in 205/40/17 on a 8 inch wheel. Really Nice lookin stretch with a pretty high tread pattern so they don't wear out quick either. 52 a piece from tire-easy.com. Do it

check out accelera alphas, i know they make a 205/40 18. i love them and paid about 285 shipped for the set. they are a bit noisy but they handle great and haven't once debeaded with a pretty gnarly stretch.
