TyreStretch is just basically a bunch of pictures of different wheel widths with different tire sizes stretch or not stretched on said wheels

how big of spacers do you think ill need before having to do and major fender work?

depends on tire size and what your offset is at the moment, maybe get some 10mm for starters and see how they look. Start somewhere, give you a better idea of what we are talking about.

Probably best to do some measuring.

A lot depends on the tire size you wind up with and what exactly you mean by "major fender work."

That said, I think it's a little funny to spend a bunch of money on tires and spacers for stock steelies. Take that money and throw it at a set of used wheels, IMO.

It sounds like your trying to get the "stanced" look with out the proper equipment. 6" wheels are hard pressed to find small enough tires to stretch. I agree with Sam, maybe save your money for some better qualified wheel/tire set up. Youll be happier you did.

The other thing to think about is that a fair bit of "the look" is fairly wide wheels, where the they're wide enough that the inside edges of the wheels and tires basically disappear under the shadows of the underside of the car. I'll bet that if you push skinny stock wheels out to the corners you're going to start seeing a lot of the inside sidewall of the tires, particularly if you add camber. That is generally not a super sweet look.

I obviously don't have an EM2, but my wheels are only pushed flush with the rear fenders and have only about 7º of camber when aired out, and I don't think my 8.5" wheels are near wide enough for the rear of my car. I can't imagine 2.5" less width.

awesome thanks for the info guys what I'm trying to do is go for a steelie look with my wheel wondering if you guys know of any place ware i could maybe get like a 16" rim thats more like 7" or a 8" steelie rim with a 4x100 bolt pattern any ideas or do u think i would be better to stay with 15" rims ?

I can't speak to size, but Diamond Racing is the popular steelie manufacturer right now, and they'll build to your specs. I'd bet you $100 you can find a used set for next to nothing. It's not like they cost much new either.
