Degrease the surfaces, lay down a bead and press it down with your finger. It helps to wear a latex glove. Let it dry for 24hrs, lay down another bead over the previous once this time a little wider so it overlaps the previous one. Once again let it dry for a full day. There is nothing more frustrating then rushing to put tires and air in them only to find a bunch of leaks.

Edit. Anyone know a good product/method for filling and smoothing deep scratches in lets say a bumper skin? I plan on fixing mine and repainting it when the time comes just not sure what to use since it has to be flexible.
Is that sealant/adhesive something I could pick up at an autobody finishing store? I would prefer to get something local in case I have to run to the store to pick up more.

Should I bolt everything together before laying the first bead? Bolt them together using a star pattern like with lug nuts, correct?

And I agree. Half the reason I took these wheels apart was because 2 of them had leaks. I won't be mounting tires on them for another month or two, so I have the time to spend.

They might be able to order it in. Its more common in the US than here and I was able to get it pretty locally if not just check the distributor locator on their website. I think two caulking tubes should be good enough for all four wheels.

You definitely want to clean up the mating surfaces of the pieces. Bolt them together in a star pattern to the appropriate torque for your set. Once you bolt them all down go around and double check the torque then proceed with sealing them up.

Cool. Thanks a lot. I'll look into where I can find that locally.

And I've already gone through and cleaned up all the mating surfaces with a fine wire wheel, had the centers repainted, and cleaned all the bolts. Now I literally just need a sealant to put them back together correctly. Then mount some tires and wait for the snow/salt to go away. lol Thanks for the info though. That was exactly what I was looking for.

I called that local retailer today and I ended up having to order the 832 silicone adhesive after all. lol No big deal I guess. It only takes a day or two to get it. It was quite cheap too. I bought 2 cartridges. I'm going to be reassembling my wheels this weekend. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. lol

Nice. Just take your time sealing them up and they will be good.
