Where do you super slammed guys get your alignments? I had enough trouble finding a shop that actually does proper alignments in my area with a decent reputation and when I finally did, my car wouldn't come close to getting on the machine. I even brought a bunch of 2x6's and they said it still wouldn't work and they pretty much told me I was sol. What are my options here? TIA

I'm in Albany but Id be willing to take a trip for a good alignment. My car is really low so if you could take some measurements I'll check if my car will clear. Thanks manOriginally posted by itsbrokeagain View Postwe have the top of the line hunter alignment machine at our shop...ive aligned subarus that were slammed to the floor and had a lip that provided like 2" of ground clearance. Got them up the ramp with no issues.
Are you in the tri-state area? I might be able to help you out...

Yeah, everyone I've talked to has said there are no good places to get alignments. Jesse Clark told me last year there wasn't any place to get a decent alignment for his track car which isn't low. I'll let you know though. I need to fix my toe bad. I am killing tires.Originally posted by kramerbuccs24 View PostOllie are you still in the Albany area? When you find a place, let me know lol. Actually, PM "bigred" on shift, he might know (he's got the black mkII jetta on panasports).

im in the same boat, toe and caster are off. I tried taking it to my buddies shop buy they have an ancient alignment rack and the subframe jack wouldnt go under the car. I got another friend that works at a dealership with a nice rack
but its kinda high off the ground, so i might have to remove bumpers, remove sideskirts, get the front wheels up then jack up the rear with a floor jack and roll it on.
