ive just discovered so much love for widened steelies. cant u order them in w/e offset u want? here are some teggys and civics with a stance to help u determine how wide u want/can go

=] enjoy. let me kno some info if u order steelies. maybe im assuming too much thinking u can order w/e offset u would like.

edit: shouldnt those curb scrapers be BEFORE the wheels not after?

Yeah, you decide how the wheels sit on your car when ordering from diamond racing. They tell you what specs they need (back spacing and whatnot) so they can make them custom.

      Sorry for the huge pic

Well it's not whatever offset you want, only in .5" increments for the backspacing. Let's take an 8" wide wheel for example, a 4.5" BS would be +0, a 5" BS would be +12 and a 4" BS would be -12.

ok im confused. i thot +0 was center of the width of the wheel? so on an 8" wheel wouldnt 4" BS be +0? am i missing something? =/ sorry for asking so many questions, trying to learn

you have it right, thats correct

if your measuring you have to remember that although the measurement of a wheel says 8in you have to add a half inch to each side for the rim edge. Its not always exactly a half inch but you should be able to clear that half inch on the inside. Just so you dont get caught with your pants down.
