BBS E26 Center Caps

Hey everybody!

I've got a set of E26's on my M3 and really want to fit some LM style center caps. The caps that would fit the wheel are big, protruding caps and I want the flush BBS cap look. anyone know how I can get this done?

Probably have to machine a ring the fits in the hub bore and then buy a cap that fits that ring.

If you have a machinist friend then buy some RS caps and tell him to make them fit

^Ok, I don't have a machinist friend unfortunately haha. I'll have to look into that.

measure the hole, search ebay's wheel center cap section for that measurement.
you may find some generic Chinese center caps that fit. then get some stick on BBS logos.

seems to work best if the measurement is in mm and not fractional.
some Chinese sellers show the cap face size and the size of the tabs.

Where could I get such a ring machined?

most likely at a small machine shop. find and buy the center caps and bring the wheel and caps to the machine shop and ask them for a price on machining a ring to adapt them.

I'd start at an automotive machine shop, or maybe a shop that sells hot rodding parts and ask them for a recommendation. or just look in your local business directory...

any place with a small lathe, a variety of scrap aluminum tubing and a competent machinist can do it. search via your phone...google ?
