  • Style5 Fitment!

    Hello there!

I've posted this question on another forum, but people there didn't seem to help much, so I'm putting my hope on you guys, haha!

I have a VW Gol MK1, which I'm going to fit in a set of Style 5s. Although I've seen some sets that are 8", mine are 8,5. I'm going to use Toyos Proxes4 195/40 or Dunlop Direzzas 205/40, I still don't know. And the bolt pattern problem is going to be solved using a "flange" (adapters) that are 15mm wide, thus bringing my offset to 5mm.

Here in Brazil, there are a lot of Gols running REALLY low on 17s. But they usually run on 17x7 ET36~40 Orbitals, for example. This one is running on bags:

And this one, on OEM Long Beaches, with a static drop:

So, what should I do to achieve a great fitment? I mean, if I run on bags and with a great low, I'll have little or no poke, okay? And if I have some poke, I'll ride as high as hell, am I right?

Please, guys, help me on this dillema.
    Thanks in advance!

ugh 17s.....if you get super small tires and air it might look okay

I would never go bigger than a 16 on a mk1....i wonder if anyone has the size chart saved on here
