  • Re building bbs rf`s.

I got a bit confused with the calculating of new et and such.
But they are original 17x8 et 40. that means a 6.5" inner and a 1.5 outer, or something like that.
i wanna build them with a 7" inner and a 4" outer using the same center. but what will my ET be then?

    thanks.

Not sure if you saw the thread that's stickied on this, it should help a lot:

      They won't be a 6.5 and 1.5 as there's also .5 for the centre, so they'll either be a 6 and 1.5 or a 6.5 and a 1....I'm guessing the latter.

The barells on your setup are 6.5". The Center is 0.5".
The lip is 1.5" backwards stepped lip, wich goes back over the center piece 0.5" so you could count that as a 1" lip.

What you want to achieve will be somewhere around 11.5 j ~ ET8 i belive.

You should do a test fit on the car with one wheel, and then measure 3 more inches from the lip, to estimate where your 4" lip would sit.
