    Hey guys,

As the title says. I'm in the pursuit of moar low. My current tire set up is

    Front
    195/55/15

    Rear
    215/55/15

    Wheels
    15x8

My buddy had a nice stretch on his 14s being a 155/55/14. And in order to slam my car. I can either get some lame 14s and run his same setup. As all i can find locally are lame 14s .

So i guess my question is. Have any of you ran the 165/45/15. Ive heard its the smallest tire every made technically. And it would leave me 1.5mm taller than my buddies 14s with 155s.

Wondering if anyone has done this and or had any problems with sidewall/bead blow out.

Any help is much appreciated. I guess let the **** being for everyone whos going to call me a retard.

I've seen 165 45 r15's on an 8j before, it can be done but I wouldn't put a lot of trust in it personally. You've got to be on the limit of what the sidewalls can take when stretched that much.

Don't listen to me though, take advance from someone who's running that set up at the minute as they'll be able to give you a better idea.

Nah man any advice and input is great to get. My buddy said he ran it for a good minuet, but as well as ive read posts of people having a good ol fashioned blow out. Or bending a wheel. But id assume those are from people who didn't avoid a pothole or something because they never said what caused the break or blow.

Thanks for the reply tho man!

Try a 185/45r15? Less stretch, and it's close enough to what you would require. Just camber the wheels a bit more... 165 would be an awfull lot of stretch

I'm currently running 165/50/15's on my 15x8 wheel. The stretch is OK. I wanted more of a stretch, so I might run 165/45/15 next time. Had these tires for 3+ months with no problems.
