        Nitto neogen 205/40/17 on a 8" wheel.

        Its BARELY noticeable.

neogen is a fat tire, i had a 215/40 on a 8.5 and there was no stretch at all... so which ever size you go with on that, go one size down from that

get the neo gens. they have a firmer rubber compound on the inner tread to help prevent camber wear

They look and feel like good tires, just not for stretching. Very fat and thick rubber.

NT555's is what you want from the Nitto line-up... the stretch is superb.

its barely noticeable because its not stretched, 205mm is just over 8in so that is not stretched

Your right, but why do people with 8in wheels recommend 205 for a aggressive stretch and 215 for a slight stretch?

so what do you recommend for a 8in wheel? I mean I seen falken 512 and zri 205/40 on 8s and the stretch is decent. Even with 215/40 the stretch was more then the the nitto neogens.

Falken 512s run smaller than other tires so they always look more stretched and narrower than other tires. What diameter wheel are we discussing here?

depending on tire, 195/40 is what i would consider slight stretch

that's why i don't like narrow wheels for stretching then you have to get into retarded tire sizes for modern cars
