Got these wheels and want to mod them to 3 pc. My idea is to cut off the lips and get new lips in radinox. The thing is that the seat for the barrel in the face is about 4 mm deep, and I was thinking to mill down another 2,5 mm to accommodate both inner and outer barrel. The thickness of the center is 12 mm under the bolts, so it will go down to 9,5mm. Do you guys think its a safe enough way to go?
the original BBS barrel flange is about 7 mm thick, was sitting on a 4 mm seat in the center.
