  • Does anyone make 17" Speedline barrels?

Once again a deal i couldn't pass up...

    A set of Speedline Mistrals.

Got them for a good price, to good.., all barrels have up to four cracks in them
and have been repaired, so i need new ones...

But i can't find 17" Speedline barrels, lips aren't the problem, they are availlible up to
17x4.., but the only barrels i can find are 18".

Or does another brand fits these, they are 36 hole iirc...

    Anyone an idea?

I thought Thatcher had hooks on pieces for these type wheels...

See if you can get in contact with him

I got the documents from Irmscher (the tuner which sold these),
they are 17x7.5 ET40 from factory.., that means they (should)
have 6.5" barrels and 1" lips...

            That kinda confirms my measurements...

But, as i think they have been apart in the past, they assembled them not correct
and they have (steel?, they rust pretty fast) RS-bolts...

They are assembled like barrel-ring-center-lip, but i did some research and couldn't find
much about these particular typ of mistrals (as i know the is some one on here that has a set,
a set is for sale in bavaria.., and my set).

But they should be assembled barrel-center-lip-ring or rear mount center-barrel-lip-ring.
Can anyone confirm that, i bought a single one (because i need a centercap) which is
rear mount, but this rim doesn't have that ring at all (or i can't see it)...

And i read something about converting RS hex cap, but cant find it anymore...

            tl: dr... i know...

To shorten this, i need four 6.5" barrels, and a set (144) of bolts,
if anyone has something laying around...

I have 4 sets, most of them are rear mounted with sealing ring in the middle.

I don't think this ring is a sealing ring.., its a solid metal ring as thick as the lip.

If you want to part with a set of barrels and bolts pm me!

I had time to remove a tire and split one, this brings me to a new problem...

These rims seal with a rubber seal, witch beads on the metall ring,
well the idiot who took these apart broke the rubberseal...

My question, do i need this rubber piece or can i seal them
(without the metal ring) ala BBS (RS) or OZ rims?

Also fyi i bought barrels, 6.5" and 7", lips will be 3" and 4".
                  Should be 17x9.5 and 17x11 ET27/21 if i'm correct...
                  215/45 and 245/40...

                    hi

OrangeBlue when you are looking for new Speedline barrels ask at Schmidt. To seal the Speedline rims you dont need the original seal ring. Use silicone (the same that is used for mounting front windshields in cars)
