Well, they are finished, mounted balanaced and on the car... a few more things here and there, a photo shoot next weekend and everyone will get to see the final product
i know man, im getting antsy... picked up my 205/40R17 kuhmo ectsa ast's first thing this morning, a few more coats on the wheels and tires go on... then the car goes MORE LOW and the wheels go on
So I had asked around and decided to send them local for a few reasons, no shipping, no shipping damage, and I like to support local shops. I took them to Seattle Wheel Service and could not be happier with the customer service and quality of work. I dropped them off yesterday on my lunch break, got a call today saying they were done! Then they delivered them to my work!
So when I dropped them off one of the wheels looked a lil off to them so the checked it for run out, turns out it was bent at the hub so I though all hope was lost and my deal had gone south... But these guys were able not only to make it work but to get the wheel completely true!
Anyways I am totally stoked so heres a list of work that I had done:
3- Decent amount of curb rash (from very light to mild)
2- Good sized Dents
1- Crack
1- Bent Center
4- Lip Polish
All for $440 after tax... Heres the Pics
Only thing to do now is decide on a color for the summer until I completely refinish them next winter
Well I un-mounted the tires at work the other day and they are off to the wheel shop to fix the 2 with dents and a lil curbage on 3 of them...
Decided I am not polishing them until next winter because I want them in one piece and on the car next week, color choice is much harder then I thought it would be
