Finally been had some time to really get stuck into refurbishing my set of RS's. What a pain in the ****. Hands ache and I've only just got half a wheel done.
Currently hand sanding the wheels right up to 1500 or so grit and then using a mixture of the dremel and mothers power cone and autosol to get it shining right.
At the moment I am trying to focus on the inside of the spokes. Once that's done I will get the "face" polished with the bench grinder and polishing wheels.
Will be ordering new lips all round once I'm happy with all four faces.
And onto the pictures
When i first took them to work to strip them (perks of having access to a workshop)

All apart

Hitting them with the paint stripper

My home set up, shame i haven't got more room

Starting to get some shine

And a test fit when my adapatec adapters rocked up...

Thoughts and suggestions
Thanks
