  • Urgent Fitment HELP!

So today I got my suspension installed on my w124 300e mercedes. I went with bilstien sport struts and h&r spring without the spring pad... well i was very unprepared with my research and had no idea how low my car was going to be, the height of the car does not bother me but the problem is my tires rub on every bump i hit.
    Currently I have 16x7.5 et35 with 205/55.
Luckly I have the new set of wheels I was going to install on my car but I do not have the tires yet.
The wheel size is 17x7.5 et35, I have no idea of what tire size to run. I need suggestions on what sizes i should run.

    Thanks!

So let me get this straight. You are having rubbing issues with 16's and instead of finding out what and where your currently rubbing FIRST your going to put 17s on and asking what size tires on a 7.5 inch wheel?

Your screen name is must be an antonym.

    WHAT DO THE TIRES RUB???

    suspension-get spacers

    fenders- roll dem shyts!

Your also running a 55 series tire! IJS.

I suggest taking some measurements. Do a little investigating on your car and then using some online tire diameter calculators. There are guys on here running 10 and 11 inch wide wheels on these. So I can't see the big issue with a 7.5.

Knowing wheel offsets also helps tremendously.
