  • 17x9.5 ET13 rears on a E36?

Found some sweet wheels that I really like, but I'm unsure if I will be able to pull them off. Well I do know it's possible, but I'm not ready to do MASSIVE arch work. Do you think that by simply rolling the rear fenders I could get enough clearance to run them without rubbing. A local shop would do the work for me. 215/40 tires sitting on them.

I really hope a good roll will be everything I need.

You can make them fit with just some slight rolling if you run heavy camber in the rear (like -8 deg).

If you don't, you'll need heavy rolling and a slight pull.

I run these specs on my rear, 9.5x17 ET13 with 225/35s. I actually pulled a bit too much, have room for 5mm spacers on there.

Here's how they fit with stock arches (only rolled a slight bit):

I pulled the crap out of my rears and run maxed out stock camber bolts (about -3.5 deg camber):

Just make sure you get the body sealant out from inside the arches before you roll so you can roll them nice and flat!

I'm running about -2 deg rear camber atm. Sounds like a lot of work to be done, and a lot that could go wrong as a newcomer. I would love to purchase these wheels as they are simply gorgeous, but I feel a bit iffy.

post a pic of the wheels.
and i think you could get away with some minor pulling.
about a week ago i unfolded the rear double lip on the quarters and cut them, then rolled.
its pretty easy just take your time
