  • What size bolts, and would you reuse?

So I am at the point where the wheels are completely refinished just need to bolt them back together and seal them.

There are about 5 bolts that look like the picture below, I put them in water then outside to see if they would rust but the spot where the chrome is missing did not. To say I was surprised would be an understatement.

Anyways, is this a big issue, would you reuse 5 bolts like this?

2nd question, what size bolts do iForged wheels use? They haven't responded to my 3 emails, and a few wheel refinishing websites I contacted stated they aren't sure if they are m7 or m8.

    Thanks

They look like aftermarked RS bolts...

I'd say they're fine, just strip them and get them rechromed.

can you measure the shaft of the bolt, measure the the widest flange and then measure the bottom of the bolt head down to the tip. Example would be 32mm long, M7 and it is a 12 pt bolt head. I have some same spares . They are chrome,32mm long and are M7 bolts. jdorociak@gmail.com jim

We have chromed steel bolts made in Europe. They are M7x31mm and are $1.25 each for the nut and the bolt.
