These might end up for sale when I'm done, trying to get into a 2002

Wanted to see how they will look, obviously haven't pulled out all the paint yet, trying not to sand them at all so I can keep the machined face

Wow, definitely one of the best sets to refinish. Please be sure to check for cracks in the lug holes before you start. Sadly it is a common problem for these beauties. Do work man, these wheels are one of the best sets ever produced by any company. I owned and sold a set, worst decision ever.

I've been wanting to try my hand at this for a long time and finally got an opportunity when I got these In on a trade to "sweetin the deal"

First I took them apart after spending $50 on the tools for the OZ bolts...

    Now here's the lips

You could say the clear is going lol

    IMAG0767 by justinloweasfuuu, on Flickr

One is damaged beyond repair, got a new lip on the way already

    IMAG0768 by justinloweasfuuu, on Flickr

Apparently the original owner got these color matched to his merc back in the day, debating on what to do with the faces

    IMAG0769 by justinloweasfuuu, on Flickr

Only came with three centers, debating on getting a third, or doing a different center

And finally the bag of bolts, all 140 of em, a few need some soaking to get rid of the rust spots, maybe even replacing

    IMAG0771 by justinloweasfuuu, on Flickr

Not pictured are the barrels, two need to be replaced due to cracks, might go from 7s to 8s, maybe even 9s!

Currently waiting on my new (to me) lip to show up, I'll probably be striping the faces and lips this weekend. Can't wait! I'll keep this updated as I make more progress
