    Very cool build!

In case you didn't already know, if you plan on sandwich mounting the face, make sure you machine down the face at the register to allow for a place for the lip to sit. A lot of people don't and end up snapping all their bolts and destroying a lot of stuff.

Lathe comes in handy, this is not mine tho. They are originally 2 piece

Thanks man, yeah I'm going to machine the backside down to allow for inner clearance and the inner barrel will have a nice edge to rest on.

I'll update this thread right now.

After getting some money together, i finally sent a order to Image-wheels in UK and ordered some lips. They were very swift with the manufacturing and postage, would recommend to a friend.

Alright after two weeks i got a package.

First ting was making sure they fitted onto the faces. And they did, so happy i took the right measurements. :Alright

And of course they had to be thrown on the car. The don't clear the fenders tho its only about 2-3mm and i think I'll rework them some more before paint.

I drilled a hole in the lip and placed a nut and screw, since i ordered them without holes. Because i was afraid i would fuck up the measurements, and thought I would just do it my self.

Ended up drilling four holes by hand, and securing the face to the rim so it would not move around when i took it to the stationary drill. I'm using M8x35 grade A4-70 button head socket screws.

        Drilling all the other holes.

One wheel fully bolted up and fitted with a 245/35 tire. The Wheel is 17x10.6 I know weird spec. But oh well. The faces still need to get on the lathe for one last time, to get a recess made for the rear barrel.

Test fitted on the car. I really like it, the tire clears fine, just need the lip to clear as well.

And anoher one, the front tire is not mounted at all, it is just on the wheel. Not beaded.

Ill get more photos up when the faces have been machined and painted. Also started using instagram, you can find me @jdjurhuus if you are interested

            Turned out very nice.
What kind of lathe is that? Most metal lathes I've seen don't have the clearance to fit a rim on it.

Thanks! I have no idea what type it is, I know the guy who owns the shop, and I have a friend working there. So I made a deal with him that I could borrow the lathe as long as my friend was there as well.

Here is a picture, that did not really capture the color and makes it look like it's painted.

This is the color of it. (poorly sandblasted) Undecided what paint i shall use on it. Gold, Bright silver and gun metal is the three paints i think I'll use.
