  • E30: 16" Front & 17" Rear?

I got a pair of Privat Remember's (BBS RS Reps) for really cheap, they are 16x7...I was wondering what your opinions would be if I went an inch higher in the rear so that I could also go wider...The 16" Remember wheels only come in 7" but the 17" come in 8" and 9".

Should I just grab another pair of 16x7 or should I grab 17x8 or 17x9 for the rear...or would that look ugly?

    Car is a 1991 318is lowered a little

Here is a car with 16's and 17's. The owner used to be active on here. I personally never liked it, since the late model e30's were built different than the early models. The rear fenders sit lower and thus if you go with even fender gap it will naturally rake the car. Adding a larger wheel in the back makes it too extreme.

As you can see huge gap in the front, nice fitment in the back. If he would match the fitment, the car would rake waaaaaay to much, and it would look off.
I would stick to the same sized wheels. like this.

Looks like I'll be going 16x7 all around, the Remembers do come any larger in our bolt pattern
