  • Building a bbs rs wheel with 2 lips ?

Hey, i want to build a slim bbs rs wheel (for drag use), thinking of building it with 2 lips (1.5"+2.5") instead of a lip and a barrel, is this even possible ? It seems that the lips is as strong as the barrel but i don't know... better ask and be safe than sorry
Thanks and sorry for the bad english

yes, ive done it a few times in the past with much success. Current iteration is a 16x5" wheel with ARP assembly hardware, and a motorcycle tire...

this is one of the initial ones i built

If it has to do with wheels, tires or brakes it goes here. 'Nuff said.

weld it shut or run dual valve stems. I have done both in the past with success. Welding the hole shut is the best option though, smooth and then polish
