  • Anyone ever order adapters from Lugmanusa?

I'm looking into some wheels that are 5x120 only--- and the accord is of course 5x114.3

I run spacers all the time and am comfortable with it--- car isn't tracked so its not like I gotta worry about stressing them out too much.

But one thing I was told is if you're going to do this, dont cheap out on crappy ebay ones.

I was looking at lugmanusa's site... and the material of the spacer/adapter is the same as Ichiba for example--- Aircraft aluminum...

So what do you guys think? Safe/reliable enough? At least so much so as Ichiba's and H&R's?

none of the big companies do adapters that go form 5x114.3 to 5x120.... Ichiba does the other way around for BMW guys, 5x120- 5x114.3

    Any thoughts/Comments?

Please dont say 'just get wheels that are 5x114.3' --- yes I know thats an option. I'm trying to figure out if theres any way to safely get these 5x120's to work. If not, then yea I'll go back to 5x114.3.

I had a bad experience with "lugman". I ordered adapters 2 weeks before I needed them thinking that was plenty of time to get them before the show I was going to, and told him the latest date I needed them, (not to mention I live in Orlando and he is in Jacksonville) he also told me it would be 4 days. After a week I e-mailed him to see what was going on with my order and he tells me he lost it!

Now it's 2 days before I had to leave for the show I call him again and he tells me that they will be done tomorrow and ship out the same day and I would have them by monday...I was leaving on thursday, which he knew. So, why does it take 4 days to ship something from Jacksonville to Orlando, a 2 hour drive? Well, that's because he doesn't make his own adapters...awesome.

He did absolutely nothing to compensate for HIS screw up, and I had to pay an extra $60 (on top of the the $35 shipping I already paid) to have them over-nighted from Tennessee. I will never use this guy again, he's a shithead.

Exactly the kinda review I was looking for.

But I did speak to Brian at Rotiform and if I end up going that route with the wheels I was considering, I'm comfortable enough with what Brian told me to want to order from them...

End result... Rotiform in, Lugmanusa out.

              Lugmanusa.

I sent my faces to a friend in FL and had him drop them off there. He did the redrill + steel conical inserts to 5x100 from 5x114.3.

Nope, the actual drill and inserts were done perfect, however, he did muck up my center cap threading because he had to cut into it. I wish he would have cleaned up the threads at least, but I got it all cleaned up/straightened out at a local machine shop.

pretty old thread, but after reading thsi review i still went ahead with ordering through lugmanusa. super helpful, responded quick, and i ordered custom sizes. $180 shipped, not too bad, i should be getting them on tuesday.

                              so far so good.
