  • bbs rs help ...

i need to know if anyone here has some experience with going wide on a golf mk1 convertible ...

i'm planning to buy me a set of BBS rs 003 ( 7j wide, ET24) but i want big lips on them ... i'm hoping of putting 8j in front and 8.5 or 9 J in the rear ... but i don't know how wide i can go , and don't want to risk in buying wheels that won't fit when widened..

    grtz

on VWV there is no sticky about how wide you can go with stock/rolled/pulled fenders?

I have no idea, I was just wondering if you had looked. On some other car-specific sites I've seen there are stickies with the maximum width/offset/stretch that you can have on stock and/or pulled fenders.

i would assume you can fit at least an 8.5, but you can always use an offset calculator or search, then ask on vortex
