  • E21 Fitting... 16 or 17?

    Hi,

I'm planning to slam an E21, but I'm still just dont know what to choose.

16x8 & 16x9 (or 16x7,5 at the front; depends on the RS Reps I get) with 195/40/16 and 215/40/16, maybe Falken or tyres with similiar stretch.

Or... 17x7,5 with a 185/35/17 Nankang Tyre, although I am not sure if a 17 inch rim looks good on an E21.

    What do you guys think?

    Regards,
    Mario

Nah it's a wheel based site and none of the originals condone fake crap.

17" is far too large for an e21

Man. Are you serious? I've made a question about fitting, I didnt even made a wheel choice yet. You are just not being helpful in any way by demanding the obvious.
My money's into my E36, not in my E21, so the priorities are set. If I would run a real E21 project, OF COURSE I WOULD GET REAL ONES, but not for just for fun slam of a rusty E21.
I also dont want to talk about your feelings. So, now I gave you an insight to my motives, now PLEASE give an answer to the question or leave it. Really don't have the time to discuss things like this again and again. Thanks mate!

Edit: Damn, just forgot. The Gatebil E21 is running 17", I think it could look nice if the wheels would be a bit less wide, but with way more camber. But I really cant find any other E21 dropped on 17". I'd like to see this one on 17x7,5: http://e21dub.blogspot.de

7x15 ET12 with 205/50 and 225/50 should do the job...

Really awesome tip, but as I wrote I'm in search for 16" or maybe 17" and already got a set of 15" OZ Vega, don't need another set of 15". But I'll throw it in the bin, FUCKIN' RS STYLE RIMS.
