  • OZ Superleggera IIIs w.tires: what are they worth? Also an adapter question.

    Hey everyone.

I don't have a whole lot of experience with wheels in general, which shows because I just realized that my OZ Superleggera IIIs (19x8, 35mm offset, 5x100 bolt pattern) are in fact NOT a 5x114.3 set of wheels, as I was told they were when I bought them for my 2009 Mazda 6 3.7.

Long story short, I need to sell them now. They're in OK shape; a little bit of scuffing on one of them and some baked-on flecks of brake dust on the sides of a few of the spokes. They are also mated with 245/35Z/19 BFGoodrich G-force tires. What are they worth, roughly? I know they're like $900 per wheel new but I don't expect to get anywhere near that much.

Also, is there anywhere I can buy 5x114.3 to 5x100 adapters locally in the Triangle, NC area?

    Thanks so much!

Just some insight on those wheels.

I had a 19" set just like yours but in 5x120. I thought they would be worth 1,500 or so with tires. I had them FS from 1.5k and moved down every so often. After 3 months they finally sold for 950. There has been a guy selling a set on craigslist locally. I think he has had them FS for 1,900 and decreasing till now he is at 1.2k and still no sale.

They are a beautiful and light wheel, but don't hold their value. I would think you could get anywhere between 800-1000 safely since they have scuffs.

I would suggest you part the tires and post them on ebay.

Thanks for the info and that's what I was afraid of. The problem is, even if I get something like XXRs I'll still have to buy tires anyway and I'm on a pretty tight budget. I almost feel like I should just keep them and buy some 25mm 5x114.3 to 5x100 adapters because it would be so expensive to actually get a new set plus tires. Plus I'm pretty sure no one has put them on the 2nd gen mazda6 before.

EDIT: Car for reference. I'm just on H&R springs now but plan to get coils at some point. I know you guys **** plastidipped stockers but I wanted to feel like I accomplished something that day.

Just sold them for $900. Not bad considering they were $740 to begin with. Crisis averted! Thanks electricalbox.
