tires for 8" wide wheels

I got my wheels adapters today. looking for help on tire size for 16"x8" wide wheels. my stockers are 16"x6.5". want a little stretch but not a whole lot. car is a static 2007 Chevy Cobalt. 5" drop in front and 6" in rear. any help would be great.

It all depends on how the wheels fit and how much room you have for tires. Its hard to help if we dont have any of this information or knowledge.
