  • MAE Crown Jewel Monoblock Refinishing

These wheels started out as chrome and flaky. So far I've knocked down the flaking parts and roughed up the rest to be able to stick some acid etching primer to. Final color is still undecided but here are some teasers, more to come soon:

What brand primer?? those would look bad azz a dark bronze color on your car. or somethinh like a porsche dark brown metallic.

Never worked with self etching primer. you think that would be strong enough to spray on some wheel nuts? thinking about painting them after with engine paint and baking them in the oven after.

I'm using Rustoleum brand acid primer. I'm not to sure about the lug nuts, but it's worth a shot.

A lot of folks want me to color match , I'm not too sure tho.

The MAEs fit this body style better.

you should do this color scheme. this looks similar to your car color.

Not same color, unless you have a polished lip..
maybe lighter or darker shade of brown, , but i think a lil darker than the car would look best.
