  • 0(zero) offset E36

Before I go ahead and think of purchasing these, their offset is 0mm. I know the usual is not near that for E36. How will my stance be/what offset you think has the perfect stance for flushed.. Not sure how it'll look/feel: any comments?

they will poke out of your wheel arch.

my wheel was 9.5 ET 0 and they poke around 2 inches in the rear with 2,5 degree camber. when i push the chassis down i get 0.75 inch poke just before the lips hit the wheel arch. at this point the camber is around 3 to 3.5 degree (maxed standard E36 camber arms)

expect around 1,75 inch poke in the back and 2.25 inch poke in the front for that wheel you mention.. you'll need a lot of camber and arch rolling to make this wheel look right on E36. the problem is in the front, ideally a 12 mm difference in offset for the same wheel spec will be just right.

I found a post here with 0 offset steelies. It was horrific, a lot a lot of fender roll which just f**ks up the fender lol. Glad I saw that photo

here it is, please excuse me for the off-road stance, all standard body work and camber setups at about 1.5 inch lower than standard ride height. my spec is 9,5" ET 0 at the back and 8,5" ET 13 at the front.

this is after some mild rolling and standard camber arm maxed out

looks okay but it rubs all the time.

Understand that offset is totally relevant to wheel width. 0mm offset will be fine if the wheels are only 7" wide, but it will be a big issue if they're 10" wide, for example.

you have 72.56 hub, these are 3.3in. idk if they make hubcentric rings with those dimensions.
with 26 offset, tires will rub (i have 225 45) in the back and i had to roll my fenders, have 17x9 rims

                  hi

You'e running negative camber, to put the rear tire under the fender a bit.. & How's the front? Looks just about right, or you'd go with a higher ET (21?)...

OHHHH true. the less the width is, the less the poke. Ok, but I doubt many of these manufacturers make em so "non-wide"

yours sit right. Maybe a front-down the side picture will be better. Show us the width of it, how much it sticks out

IMO do a LOT more reading about offsets and wheel tire set ups before buying anything. Buying a set of cheap steelies just to "stance" the car is pretty dumb. Its a bmw, steelies aren't exactly fitting.

New Wheels + offset + backspace

help me out with this: offset=good + backspace = good? it looks as if im in the GREEEEEEN now

                              38mm offset
                              5.5inch backspace

how much is available on OEM E36 wheels? (what I found was f***ing confusing i dislike math)
