  • Is this wheel repairable?

So i thought this would be very stupid question, but then i looked into it a little more and i've seen worse wheels repaired so... what do you guys think? Would it be cheaper to just buy another wheel if this ones even fixable? i could just source another barrel and reuse the face, but i think it'd be easier just to find another complete wheel. These wheels came on the e34 i bought so i'm mainly looking to get a 4th wheel just so i can sell as a set. Please give me some input guys! Thanks

Yes, it is repairable. They would need to reshape the lip and weld the crack.

Not sure how much it would cost to have it done though.

NO way easier, safer and probably cheaper to pick up a new one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WHEEL-2001-B...9913cb&vxp=mtr

trash it, or hang it in the garage as homage to the pothole that raped it.

Yeah they're two piece so you can't just replace the barrel really.

I have a spare 42 but im down here in texas haha.

The facelift 530i sport package e39's that came with these wheels had 5 of them because they had full size spares.
Check local junkyards for e39 530's you might get lucky and find one in the trunk.
