  • pitting on RS lips

I've been working on polishing some RS lips all weekend. I'm having trouble on the two front .5". There seems to be quite a bit of pitting on them that just won't come out. I've tried wet sanding 80 grit, 180 grit, and 320 grit.

I have also tried #3 steel wool and nothing seems to even touch the pitting.

Any suggestions I should look into?

They are aluminum, so if the pitting is that bad, time to upgrade. Pm me if you need pairs of lips. I have tons of oem and the larger ones I produce.
